We bought Nanner in North Dakota because James really
liked her. Unfortunately, during a layover at the hauler's, she jumped a fence and a smooth wire broke and punctured
her hock. We were very fortunate not to have lost her before ever having seen her! We refer to Nanner as
our "problem child". Sometimes she just seems like trouble waiting to happen -- and she does it all by herself.
But she seems to have her own brand of common sense -- when she gets in a jam, she calmly waits to be rescued.
Needless to say, Nanner is one of our favorites. She is one of our two
blue-eyed beauties. We are planning to breed her to Zandy for a 2004 foal.
Because of our recent move, Nanner may be offered for lease to the right home.

This little girl is my pride and joy (and like my own daughter,
will probably always be referred to as a little girl). We are not raising paints, but when I saw her picture, I just
had to have her, and she is just as sweet as she is pretty. With her long main and tail billowing, she looks like she
is flying when she runs. Maybelline is gaited and I believe that she will be a riding horse made in heaven.

DUDES TWO EYED BLOND - 2002 AQHA MARE
Precious
"Precious" is a foundation bred quarter horse filly.
The breeder thought that she would "yellow", so she was registered with AQHA as a palomino. Thanks to the 2003 rule
change with regard to double dilutes, we will be able to have this baby's registration changed to reflect her true color.
She does have two blue eyes. Precious is a year old and has had almost no handling. From the little
bit of time that I spent with her, I do not think she is going to present a real problem, she just needs to figure out that
the two-legged horse eating monsters aren't all that bad! More photographs to be added soon.
